What Is The Best Way To Learn Logos Bible Software?

The best way to become fluent in Logos Bible a software is to purposefully saturate yourself in the software itself, using it exclusively, while at the same time purposing to absorb all you can about from a variety of sources.

Use Logos Bible Software Exclusively

It’s been said that the best way to learn a new language is to completely immerse yourself in the culture that speaks the native language. Doing so, will force you to learn the language quickly, otherwise you won’t be able to communicate effectively.

Similarly, the best way for you to learn Logos Bible Software is to immerse yourself in the software without help from any external source when conducting personal study or when preparing a message . . . any message, for any reason. If you follow this advice, you will quickly learn your way around Logos and become more efficient with each use.

As scary as this may sound, stop depending on resources outside of Logos when prepping . . . for anything. Make the decision now to commit yourself to use Logos exclusively for 30 days . . . for everything. Let me explain why.

When a caterpillar goes through the process of metamorphosis, it must fight its way out of the cocoon in order for its wings to fully develop. The struggle of fighting its way out of the cocoon forces the blood to flow into its new wings, which strengthens them for flight. If you try to ‘help’ that butterfly by cutting away the cocoon in order to prevent it from the struggle of fighting its way out, unknowingly, you are dooming it to death. It will never fly and will become easy prey.

In the same way, if you are to succeed in learning how to use Logos Bible Software, you must struggle and fight your way through it until you can fly with it. You accomplish this by using Logos exclusively to all other resources. That means you have to put aside your Bibles, books, and commentaries, while purposing to only use Logos for all of your Bible preparation needs.

Of course, this is not going to be easy and it will be awkward at first, just as awkward as it is for the caterpillar to metamorphosis into a butterfly when it struggles to find its way out of the cocoon. But you can do this.

In today’s world, there is no lack of information on any topic you can think of, including Logos Bible Software. This is great news for you, but it means that you will have to inundate yourself in Logos. That thought may be a little overwhelming, but let me share a few reading resources for you to get started. It’s really not as hard as you might think, it just requires a change in your thinking. Instead of being reactive, (I have to find an answer to my problem), you have to be pro-active, (what can I learn so that I am ready should the need arise).
